f you missed the Spring Fantasy drive though event at The Landing, it
Iwas so much fun. I had bubbles as you entered (did you expect less?)
The Daytime Gardeners did another amazing job with their display.
We had a bakery where Michele, my vintage housewife, was giving out
cookies. Jeff and Nicole from Infinite Nutrition pretty much danced
through the whole event with Renee from GSB Bank. Andrea, Mary,
Charlie and Danielle were my support team through it all, helping with
set up and greeting. Our own writer, Marisa, was there as a fisherper-
son, Tiffany was a fairy and Jonna was my Cinderella. There was an
explosion of pinwheels, flowers, butterflies and birds. The library did
a May the 4th be with you display and The Landing residents painted
birdhouses for me. Blur Barbershop even lent me a barber pole. The
highlight was the Alice in Wonderland set and Nick, the Mad Hatter
who had 150 confetti poppers and used every one of them. And, I
was, of course . . . Little Red Hiding Hood. (I will take any and all ex-
cuses to dress up). And none of it would happen without the support
of the local businesses.

And I want to take the time to acknowledge Mark LeSage, the outgo-
ing Rotary President. He was so much fun to work with during such a
difficult time. He attended my pumpkin patch and he was my White
Rabbit at the Spring Festival. He is one of the sweetest people I know
and always there to support the town. He may not know it yet, but we
are going to continue to work together. Mark is a fellow foodie!
