Princess Peyton: I was born at Saint Raphael’s in New Haven Jill: What is your favorite restaurant?
but I have grown up in this town since the first day my parents
took me home. Princess Peyton: My by far favorite restaurant is the Athena
Diner. Their food is amazinggg. But I love Inferno Pizza also.
Princess Madison: I was born in New Haven and moved to
North Haven when I was four years old Princess Madison: Bellini’s on Washington Avenue.

Jill: I understand you are friends. What is your best memory
        of your friendship?
Princess Peyton: We have been friends since Kindergarten.
We grew up together at Montowese School and even though we
drifted for some time throughout middle school, our bond never
weakened and here we are ten times closer best friends. My fa-
vorite memory of our friendship is honestly growing up together.
We have both come so far since Kindergarten and our families are
basically one. All the vacations and hang outs we have are never
bad times and we never have any dull moments.
Princess Madison: Peyton and I have been best friends since
kindergarten, which is 13 years. The best memory of our friend-
ship is no matter what we go through in our lives, “Pey” is always
the first person I text, whether it be to rant or to have a shoulder
to cry on. For me, without siblings, Peyton is like my sister and
having her in my life as a best friend will always be the best mem-
        ory I could ever have.
Jill: I hear you rode in the Memorial Day Parade. Was it fun?
Jill: What do you like about growing up in town Princess Peyton: Yes it was a blast! My boyfriend and his fa-

body and it really is home. Princess Madison: I truly enjoyed riding in the convertible
Princess Madison: I like how close the community is in for the Memorial Day Parade. I wouldn’t have wanted to do that
North Haven. No matter where you go in town, you will know at with anyone else but my best friend by my side. It was so much
least one person and it is nice to see a recognizable faces. fun to see all the kids get so excited and wave back to us, as well as
seeing all the people we’ve come to know looking so proud of us.
Jill: Do you think you are a Small Town Princess or Big City It was an experience I will never forget. It was joyful and exciting!
Princess. Is there somewhere you want to live?
Princess Peyton: I am a Small Town Princess. There is most Jill: Your Highnesses, any final words for your subjects?
certainly nowhere else I want to live. North Haven will be my Princess Peyton: I just want to say thank you to my parents
home for life. and to you for pushing me out of my comfort zone to be a Spring
Princess Madison: I’d say I am a Small Town Princess, con- Princess. I was a little nervous at first but it was very beneficial
sidering that I love to know everyone around me. If I were a Big in the end. Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity, and for
City Princess, there would be faces that I may never meet. thinking of me and my best friend. And, thanks to Mr. Freda for
taking the time to crown us and everyone who came out to see us.
Jill: What are your plans for the future? Princess Madison: I would like to thank both of my parents
Princess Peyton: I will be attending Albertus Magnus Col- for putting the time in to drive me to the appointments and being
my number one supporters. I want to thank you for giving Pey-
lege starting in the fall and I will be majoring in Psychology with ton and I this amazing privilege and an experience we will never
hopes of becoming an art therapist. After college, I have plans of forget. I also want to thank everyone who came out to see Peyton
getting married and starting a family. and I, as well as being so welcoming. And, of course, Mr. Freda
Princess Madison: I will be attending Sacred Heart Univer- for taking the time to crown us. It was such an honor.
sity where I will study criminal justice and psychology. After col-
lege, I would like to live down South, preferably North Carolina or Jill: Thank you, Your Highnesses. (I curtsied)
Florida, or go wherever my parents go. My Mom is like my best
friend so I know I won’t be able to go that far away.

Jill: If you could change one thing about North Haven, what
        would it be?
Princess Peyton: Hmmm, that is a tough question. I think
it would be to have more town events to bring the community
closer. The Festival was really fun.
Princess Madison: If I could change one thing about North
Haven, it would be to have gatherings all the time where families
could gather, meet and become a close knit community.
