Have fun with your dining area. It can be as rustic as a picnic
table or contemporary glass. Include shade and lighting to be sure
your guests are comfortable. Add an area room for color and ac-
cent pieces to create the dining room feel – a buffet, a drink cart
or even palm trees to mimic indoor columns. A fire pit creates a
natural conversation area. Be sure the seating is comfortable and
inviting. As the weather gets cooler, drape a soft throw across each
seat. There are limitless options for outdoor lighting. Path light-
ing in various forms, pendant drop lighting, solar ropes. The entire
space outdoors can offer the same comforts as living indoors. Your
“smarthome” can be taken outside to create a true living area, using
outdoor speakers, tv monitors, and lighting control and settings.
Just tell Alexa or Google to lower the lights, turn on the tv, or even
start the firepit. Did someone say “smores?”

Whatever your lifestyle dictates, enjoy the outdoors, make it fun,
