Happy Holidays,
I am writing to you on one of our first chilly 14 20

My October has been busy! This year’s Town
Trek was really fun, even if a team did get
delayed eating at Dino’s. I can’t blame them. Content
The Meatball Competition, the Murder
Mystery, the Pumpkin Patch – it all kept 20 Stardust, Snowflakes, & Song
me busy and now, The Magical Elf House.
I am happy to say the elves are taking up
residence in North Haven again this year, 26 The Magical Elf House
but in a holiday home. Tickets go on sale
November 1 and sell out quickly. I’ve had the Jill DeChello
pleasure of working on a 2025 “Dudes and Editor 27 Santa's Sleigh Contest
Dogs” calendar (page 41) featuring some of
our town leaders and supporting Halfway 28 Fred Kelly
Home Rescue. Be sure and get yours for
the holidays. I am so looking forward to
Christmas and baking this year. For my 32 NH Library Puzzle Off Winners
birthday, I received an enormous mixer. I
named it Dom2/D2 and I can’t wait to use it. 33 North Haven Rotary
If you missed Taste of New England, the
Rotary event, it was a great success and a very 34 DHI Color Wheel
special day for me. Mike Freda presented me
with a citation AND I was crowned “Queen
of North Haven”. I swear! See the picture! 38 A Last Glance of Summer
I am very grateful and honored. And there
is no need to curtsy when you see me. I’m 40 A Busy October!
going to be one of those “cool” queens.
