And then there were the sponsors. Nothing happens without
sponsors. Nick Casella and Frank Landino from MedicareCT.com
are always there to support my crazy events. They give so much
back to our town and immediately offered to be the main sponsor.
Next, Rita from Stay at Home Care stepped up. She was not only
a sponsor, her daughter, Lauren, was Cinderella. And, she also
became a quick friend. So many North Haven businesses stepped
up to sponsor displays and signage, and, as always, the Library and
the Historic Society stepped up to play. Their displays were really
well done. My Publisher, Roger is always generous in allowing me
to promote my events in the magazine and Rich, who does client
websites and tv spots, produced the movie for me. North Haven
photographer David Frost took pictures and Victor from NHTV
filmed the event. And, the North Haven Police Department kept
it all as orderly as possible. We put through over 800 cars and
made $5,000 for the Rotary. I’m sure I am missing people and I
am sorry if I missed you, but please know I appreciate everything
that everyone did.

So, what do you do when the Pumpkin Patch is over? Start plan-
ning The Landing Winter Wonderland on December 10, 11, 12.
Although there will be other events for the Holidays, this event
will be the combined effort of our little town. I hope it conveys the
warmth, kindness, generosity and holiday spirit that reflects North
Haven. It is a wonderful town and I am so grateful to live here.
