                                  times met with many hurdles
that can be very stressful at
                                  times. They need someone to

to get the job done with a sense
of calmness. In order to un-

Brian we need to go back to
one particular night in May of
                                  2000 that showed where Brian’s
determination and calmness were on display when people
were counting on him to lead.

It was a raining night in Fishkill, NY back in May of 2000. A division of
Marist College was playing Fairfield University in the MAAC
Championship baseball game. Marist went down early in the
game and in the top of the third inning was down 4-0 with
bases loaded and only two outs. Coach John Szefc of Marist
at the time, who is currently the head coach of Virginia Tech
had a major decision to make that night. He called on pitch-
er Brian in a high pressured moment to stop the momentum
and allow Marist to get back into the game. This decision Business • Home • Auto • Life • Health
proved to be right as Marist won the game 11-5 and moved
on to the NCAA Tournament in Lafayette, Louisiana.
288 State Street, North Haven, CT 06473
Brian has reflected on this moment many times in his life, 203.230.1229
which has helped him grow his business as he most recent-
ly became partner in July of 2018 with Welcome Home
Mortgage, LLC. Welcome Home Mortgage is broker that is
licensed in Connecticut and Florida. They can help clients
from 1st time homebuyers up to retirees that need advice on

          4. Continuous Improvement is essential for our long term success
          5. We strive to provide an Exceptional Mortgage Experience

Brian is a strong community minded person as well and most
recently was the Rotary President for the club in town. What
better way to understand this than Through the Eyes of a
Child. Charlie who is Brian’s son wrote “My Dad helps out
a lot around town. He does finances for people’s homes and
he is in the Rotary Club that does a lot of fundraisers to help
groups of people. Some of the events they do are wine & ros-
es, and the pancake breakfast/road race where he got the idea
to create the Rotary mascot Freddy. This is why my Dad’s
jobs are so important for the people and are really cool.”
