                                           The Bottom Line?
                     Generosity up, community needs down.

Together we raised approx. $54,000 for the year, (remember that we did start the year in a deficit), and again, things
happen, but when you get our tribe of Rotarians fueled by determination to rise up in the face of a challenge, we did
phenomenal in closing the gap, and very quickly! Anyone that thought the Fried Dough fundraiser didn’t work, think
again! It helped the bottom line out big time and didn’t take much effort! Some members also helped close the gap with
financial donations and please know that your kindness is greatly appreciated! Hope this coming year we will be able to
have another Fried Dough Fundraiser, just with better weather! By doing all we did, it empowered us financially to sup-
port 33 local charities which will be awarded the grants on July 17th at our Grant Recipient Part at Small Batch Cellars!

We recently awarded several well-deserved scholarships to local High school students, 9 to be exact as well as 1 for a
student from the Ukraine who was unable to get help with his tuition because he didn’t qualify for any programs! Gate-
way and Quinnipiac students also benefitted from our foundation scholarships! Yes, we were able to help out many, but
it’s way more than numbers—it’s stories waiting to unfold for families, students, and causes that now have new reasons
        to hope.
